Mozart Performing Arts
Finding Inspiration through Music

We don’t cut creativity, we expand it
The Mozart Performing Arts Program encourages students to expand their passion for music and performance as they participate in music classes four days per week. These 45 minutes classes focus on instrumental music, vocal music, and more.

Mozart Performing Arts Curriculum
Students participate in high-quality music classes four days per week, including piano lab, instrumental music ensemble (band, orchestra, or recorder), and general music class, with an emphasis on vocal technique, music literacy, and music history. Mozart students perform in both instrumental and vocal ensembles. (program offerings and/or availability may vary by campus and grade level).

Program features
Instrumental and Vocal Music
Performing in an ensemble provides students the opportunity to build teamwork skills in the music classroom. Students will learn the basics in performance technique, concert literature, and note reading. Performances throughout the year will showcase what they have learned.
Class Piano
Students will learn basic keyboard skills in our state-of-the-art piano labs. Teachers can communicate and provide feedback to each student through headsets, allowing everyone to learn at their own pace.
Music History and Theory
While connecting to composers and musicians of the past, students will analyze and respond to a variety of music. Students will learn music theory and notation through games, exercises, and compositions of their very own.
