Legacy Kids Care (LKC) Program Description

Our LKC program is designed with our busy parents in mind and is tailored exclusively for currently enrolled Legacy Traditional School students from K-8th grade. At LKC, we create a safe and stimulating environment where students can participate in a variety of activities beyond regular school hours. They have dedicated homework time, opportunities to spend time with friends, and participate in a variety of fun and engaging activities. Students remain on-site, eliminating the need for additional transportation to a childcare center. LKC is available before and after school and begins on the first day of school and ends on the last day of school.

Hours

Before school: 6:00 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.

After school: Dismissal – 6:00 p.m.

LKC is available before and after school and begins on the first day of school and ends on the last day of school.

Registration Fees

A one-time non-refundable $80 registration fee per family per school year applies to all contract types.

Instructions for Adding Authorized Pickups

Only the account owner can add authorized persons to pick up students. Campus, LKC, and
Community Ed staff cannot add these individuals. Follow these steps to add an authorized pickup:

1. Log into https://legacy.arux.app/
2. Under “Your Accounts”, select your program account.
3. Under “Account Management”, select “Manage Authorized Pickups”.
4. List authorized pickups along with information and save.

Note: Authorized pickups must be added for each student individually; they do not apply to all students on the account.

Legacy Kids Care (LKC) Contract Types

None of our contracts cover holidays, breaks, or school closure days, as LKC is not available during these times. For more information on Non-School Days Break Camps, see additional information in the Break Camps section below. For any unscheduled care needs, you may utilize a Drop-In day. Always compare your needs with other contracts and their fees. Please note, sibling discounts are exclusively available with the Consistent contract.

Consistent Contract

This is ideal for families needing daily care, offering to choose before, after, or both before and after care. This contract is particularly advantageous for families with multiple children, as it includes a sibling discount. This contract is a flat weekly rate, which means the cost is the same each week, regardless of how many days are attended. Typically, it’s best if you need care for four or more days a week. All school days are automatically chosen for you.

Drop-In Contract

This is perfect for those who cannot schedule care in advance or only need occasional, last-minute care for before, after, or both before and after care. This contract is ideal if you don’t need multiple consecutive days. While days cannot be scheduled ahead of time, we ask that you notify the teacher if you need to use after care on any given day.

Pick Your Days Contract

This is designed for those needing care anywhere from 1 to 5 days a week or just occasionally. This contract allows you to choose specific days in advance for before, after, or both before and after care—whether for the entire year, a month, or just a week ahead. Use the calendar’s navigation arrows to browse through months.

Non-School Day Only Contract

This contract is ideal for families who only need care during school breaks (Fall, Winter, and Spring). It does not include regular before- or after-school care so it is best for families not needing care during regular school days. Break Camps are held at select campuses and may vary each year. Enrollment in this contract lets you register for camp dates as they open but does not automatically enroll your student in specific days—you must register separately during the break camp’s open registration period.

Instructions for Submitting a Schedule Change (Pick Your Days Contracts ONLY)

Be aware of the schedule change deadline: 8:00 AM MST on the Wednesday before the
upcoming week, except for modified billing weeks during federal holidays and closures. Refer to your LKC Fee Table for these modified dates.

1. Log in to your LKC account: https://legacy.arux.app/
2. Under “Your Accounts,” click on your current Legacy Kids Care account.
3. In “Current and Upcoming Contracts,” click on your Pick Your Days contract.
4. Under “Contract Management,” click on “Change Schedule”.
5. Use the calendars for Before Care and After Care to add or remove the days you need
   by clicking on the days.
6. Click “Submit Contract Schedule Changes” to finalize.

Non-School Days

Non-School Days are available for families who need care fall, winter and spring break weeks only. Students may attend anytime between the hours of 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Students will need to pack breakfast and lunch. Snacks will be provided.
$35 per child/day
